We decided as a staff it would be lovely to invite some parents in to share their knowledge of different countries around the world. We are very lucky at Dunmurry Primary School to have a real mix of nationalities in all our classes and we need to celebrate that.
We had our first visitor in this week. Morag Rohmann very kindly came in, dressed in traditional dress and taught P6 all about Germany. They were very excited to learn so many facts and taste the fabulous german food Morag brought in.
Science Demo Day 2025
We always enjoy Science Demo Day in Dunmurry Primary School and this year was no different. All the teachers choose a different science experiment or activity related to the theme of Science week each year. This year's theme is 'Adapt and Change' so the children learnt about how animals adapt and change as well as materials.
