The countdown to Easter has begun with Pancake Tuesday this week. Most of the classes had great fun making and eating pancakes in school on Tuesday and I'm sure plenty more were had at home.
World Book Day 2025
We love World Book Day in Dunmurry Primary School. This year's theme was 'Relax and Read'. The children (and staff) were told they could come to school in relaxed and comfy clothes that they would enjoy relaxing and reading in. It could have been pyjamas, a dressing gown, a Onesie or an Oodie or anything else comfortable, and they brought along their favourite books. The best thing about the day was to get together to read. P4 went to the nursery, P5 went to P1, P6 read with the P2s and the P7s read with P3. Reading is such an important part of the curriculum but also really good fun.
