The PTA organised another fabulous Halloween Disco on Thursday night for the children from P1 - P7. The costumes were fantastic and it was obvious that some of the children (or their parents) had gone to a great effort to look as good as they did. As usual the D.J. got everyone up dancing and many requests for favourite songs were put in. Well done to Luas and Stevie who for the prize for the best costume. Thanks to the PTA who also sold the all important tuck shop goodies.
The Nursery children had their own Halloween party this morning and all came in their favourite costume before having some yummy party food.
ICT Skills
The P6 and P7 children are all receiving their ICT lessons this year from Miss Percy, as our new ICT co-ordinator, while Mrs Malcolmson, as P.E. co-ordinator has been taking all the P.E. lessons.
The P6's this week totally loved what they were learning to do - play 'Rock, Paper, Scissors' with a Microbit.
Queens Medical Student
Every year P6 host a medical student from Queens who, over a number of weeks, teaches the children all about the Human Body. This year they welcomed Sophie, who we think is going to do a great job.
