P7

In P7 we work hard and enjoy lots of opportunities that come with being the oldest class in our school. Our teacher is Miss Percy and classroom assistant is Miss McClean. Our topics in P7 are

  • Victorians
  • Healthy Habits
  • Titanic
  • Northern Ireland
  • Cycling Proficiency

Have a look at what we have been up to...

We had great fun learning new skills in ICT. We used Scratch to develop our coding skills by making animations based on the story of the Titanic sinking. Follow the link to view our amazing animations.

We enjoyed some relaxing time interpreting and trying to recreate the work of George Seurat, who is famous for his work with Pointillism. We used cotton wool buds 'paint' our images by placing dots of paint on our page.

You are never too old for some practical maths. We shared out 3D shapes, so we could investigate their properties. We also looked a little more closely at prisms and the link between the number of side on the end face and the number of sides, edges and vertices.

We enjoy our PE sessions, especially when we get the climbing frames and ropes out...who thinks they could make it to the top??

We were invited to attend Bethany Church recently to visit the Life Exhibition. We had great time learning about the life of Jesus.
