Have a look at what we have been up to...

Over this term, we have been learning about the Victorians. Two of our favourite activities were creating our silhouette pictures, and Victorian Day.

We enjoyed some relaxing time interpreting and trying to recreate the work of William Morris, who is famous for his floral and nature prints. We used a polystyrene board to create our designs, then we rolled printing ink on to the board. Finally, we made repeated prints with the boards. We think the overall look is impressive.

You are never too old for some practical maths. We used art straws and 'Blue Tac' and had a go building 3D shapes. We were looking carefully at how many edges each shape had.

We also used cubes to explore volume, paying particular attention the fact that two shapes can look completely different, but have exactly the same volume.

In P7, we have buddied up with the P2s. When we are together, we enjoy lots of nice activities such as outdoor learning.
